The Indian Media’s outlook on Cricket

India and Pakistan had a cracker of a match last night. I watched it till the end, and although I’m disappointed that India lost, it was a great game nonetheless!

I appreciated the tenacity displayed by Mohammed Yousuf and Shoaib Malik in taking the Pakistani score from 3/65 in 14.4 overs to a massive score of 302.

I really enjoyed the fight that Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina exhibited which gave India lots of hope and belief that they could pull off an awesome win!

But, after all was said and done, I think that Pakistan were the deserving winners of that match. Their spinners out-bowled India. Their batsmen batted a lot more responsibly. In the final equation, they were a better team on the day. So why is the media crying and creating such a fuss about Dhoni not bowling Tendulkar??

Welcome to the all new http://blog.tejaspadekar.com!

As you’ve probably noticed,  I’ve moved to Wordpress for all my blogging needs! My old site-design is still active at http://tejaspadekar.com along with all the old blogs. However, I’ve decided that I will stop using the old site’s blogging feature.

So, here’s hoping that this Wordpress version of the blog will make my life easier, and will get me to post blogs more often!
